Technology in Education
Technology is not a magic bullet as most schools have found. It takes deliberate time, effort, and vision to create powerful teaching and learning with technology. So rather than prescribe a list of applications and skills my effort is to help teachers increase capacity and develop a new classroom style and philosophy that embrace technology as an indispensable learning tool.
Efforts to affect the classroom environment are leveraged at:
- Technology integration and the creation of rich project-based learning opportunities
- Providing support for coaching and mentoring
- Promoting online communication tools
